Our Mission
LUPE Arte works to advance our students' critical thinking skills, literacy, academic achievements, and media awareness through multidisciplinary, culturally relevant arts education programs. LUPE Arte promotes the involvement of the community in the arts with an emphasis on women artists. We exist to create cultural awareness and improve our community by instilling the value of education in our youth, particularly at-risk youth.

Our Vision
LUPE Arte is dedicated to the promotion of the arts and culture by providing arts education to at-risk youth while fostering emerging and professional artists providing them with employment opportunities. Our goal is to provide arts education as a means to keep kids in school.

What We Do
As a multimedia multidisciplinary arts organization, while other organizations have only one arts discipline, we draw from a pool of various local artists covering multiple disciplines. Our workshops and youth art programs are available in Spanish, English, or are bilingual. We develop and support Artists, serving as an incubator to provide employment opportunities and to support artists' professional development. We are members of the Austin Latino Theater Alliance (ALTA) and the NALIP Austin (National Association of Latino Independent Producers).
